A native Irish lass, I grew up hauling firewood, working the garden and tending to the cattle on our small farm in County Tipperary. My childhood taught me the meaning of hard work and for that I am very grateful. After Secondary School, I left the farm and in 2007 I graduated from Dublin City University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication studies.
I moved to Dallas almost 8 years ago for a “6 month working-vacation”. I fell in love with Dallas and all it had to offer – live music, craft beer, lakeside walks, Tex-Mex food and warm smiles. I forgot to leave! Coming from a country known for its friendly people, I was immediately right at home in Dallas, where southern hospitality reigns.
My husband (a native of Lakewood in East Dallas), and I, bought our first home in 2011 in Lake Highlands. Searching for the right home in Dallas taught me so much and made me realize how passionate I was about “home” and what it means. It was a search that ultimately led me to my dream career in Real Estate. It was time for a change!
Prior to becoming a Realtor, I spent 8 years in Restaurant Marketing & Sales for a large restaurant group. Here I learned how to instantly put people at ease. My background in Marketing & Sales has been a great asset in representing my Real Estate clients. Needless to say, as a realtor I have the incredible opportunity to serve my clients with a decision that for many, is one of the largest that they will make in their lifetime. Whether buying for the first time, selling a cherished family home or relocating to this fantastic city, it is truly an honor to see my clients through their transition and make the process fun and painless.
Many buyers think that finding a home for them is the biggest part of my job. Finding homes is an important part but in reality, where my experience and knowledge benefits my clients is in guiding them towards a solid investment and a smooth transaction. I focus not only on what your criteria are but also consider that this may very well be the largest investment you make. In the end, I ensure that my clients always end up with the house that not only feels like home but a house they feel good about purchasing.
When it comes to listing your home, my goal is to make your home as marketable as possible. One of my strengths is to help you prepare your home for the market so that it will appeal to the broadest audience of buyers. Staging and professional photos are just the beginning. I’m passionate about making sure your property gets as much online exposure as possible. By this time your home is looking amazing so let’s make sure everyone sees it! When it comes to pricing, that is where my job really begins – negotiating on your behalf and assuring that your transaction goes as smoothly as possible.
I would be happy to meet with you to discuss my approach to real estate in more detail. More importantly, I would much rather hear about you and your real estate goals. Let’s meet for coffee, chat, maybe see a dream house and determine if we are a good fit for each other.
I am committed to making your home buying and/or selling experience as pleasant as possible.
